The Oku-hut Candles forms part of the 2020/1 Homecoming Collection; whose purpose was to illustrate through design, colour, texture, form, line, and feeling that the idea of home is not a physical place, but rather a feeling of warmth, comfort, peace, and a sanctuary for our dreams and hopes. Its name is derived from the Nigerian Igbo language meaning warmth;
Modelled and inspired by the the architecture of Musgum Hut in Cameroon in collaboration with Okra Candles. These candles are scented with hints of Vanilla or sandalwood and are available in 3 colours; ebony, indigo & coffee.
