This side table forms part of the 2018 African Crown Collection whose purpose was to celebrate and bring to life the beauty & majesty of African tribal hairstyles within the continent of Africa. The woven details of this side table reference & celebrates the long & woven Rapunzel-like (eembuvi-plaits) hair of the Mbalantu women of the wambo (ovaWambo) tribe in the 1900s in Namibia.
The Wambo side table has a powder-coated steel frame, solid timber top finished off with beautiful hand-woven details that make this piece as practical as it is eye-catching.
