New Works Debuting Across CTFW and ICTAF 2026

This guide brings together the full line-up of pieces launching during this year’s Cape Town Furniture Week and Investec Cape Town Art Fair.
While our social channels offer glimpses into the new works, the complete journey unfolds across multiple spaces, collaborations and moments throughout Cape Town. This guide maps where each piece will debut and how the programme unfolds across the city.

A SEASON OF NEW WORK
Across furniture, lighting and collectible design, the 2026 programme explores colour, material tension and narrative form. Familiar silhouettes are revisited through subtle shifts in tone, texture and surface. Sculptural gestures sit alongside functional precision. Each piece carries a story shaped through process, evolution and intention.

TOTEMIC: CTFW
Presented in dialogue with MashT Design and Hoven Design, TOTEMIC brings together a series of reimagined works under a shared curatorial umbrella at Sisonke Gallery during Cape Town Furniture Week. The presentation examines how material and colour can reshape perception, opening new readings of familiar forms.

RESONANT FORMS: ICTAF
Running concurrently, RESONANT FORMS presents a selection from our collectible Aya Collection, From Dakar to Cape Town, alongside focused collectible works by Mash T Design and The Ninevites. The programme reflects a considered expansion of our collectible design practice and a continued commitment to collaboration.

WADI SCREEN: CTFW FESTIVAL HUB-DESIGN PRIZE EXHIBITION
Our new Wadi Screen, created in collaboration with WELUKA and GREY ROOM, extends our ongoing screen language through a renewed exploration of materiality, texture and spatial rhythm. Developed as both a functional divider and a sculptural presence, the piece investigates how woven surfaces and. layered structure can shape the experience of space.

The collaboration brings together complementary practices, blending crafted textile processes with architectural framing to create a work that feels both grounded and fluid. The Wadi Screen continues our interest in storytelling through form, where pattern and material contrast become active elements. Selected as a finalist for the CTFW design prize and positioned within the CTFW Festival Hub, the piece invites close viewing, revealing how hand, process and material dialogue come together to create depth, movement and atmosphere.

A City-Wide Encounter
This season is shaped not by a single venue but by a series of encounters across the city. Each space reveals a different layer of the work and together they form a broader narrative of exploration, dialogue and evolution.

We look forward to welcoming you into the rooms where the work comes to life.
