Akaya meaning 'at home' or 'home' in Xitsonga is a name given to the multifunctional piece forming part of the 2020/1 Homecoming Collection; pieces from this collection whilst in form and texture. The colour and patterns from this range were inspired by African vernacular architectural design and in essence the idea of home, warmth, comfort & peace as it pertains to African cultures & tribes.
