An extension of the Fulani Range in the 2018 African Crowns collection, the Fula Chair is an ode to the structural quality of traditional hairstyles worn by the Fula tribe across West Africa.
 
The braided, arched hairstyles of Fula women are symbols of fertility and beauty. These arches are translated into the chair’s organic, rounded and gently curving form.
 
This iteration introduces a colourway and material update, with the powder-coated steel frame finished in Pigeon Blue. The chair retains its organic steel structure, stained timber seat, and plush upholstered backrest with the 100% cotton Mungo Double cloth fabric offering considered comfort with a practical and refined presence.
