As part of the 2018 African Crowns collection, the Fulani barstool is an ode to the sculptural quality of traditional hairstyles of the Fula tribe found throughout West Africa.
 
The braided arched hairstyles of the Fula women were seen as a symbol of fertility and beauty and it is these arches and braided details that are referenced in the organic rounded, arched, and woven details of this barstool.The Fulani chair has an organic rounded powdercoated steel frame with an upholstered seat and plushly upholstered backrest to bring chic comfort with a practical touch.
