The Nasara & Fulani vessels is named after & inspired in their forms by their namesake the Nasara & Fulani artworks. The sweeping lines and organic forms/shapes of these pieces are inspired by African Crowns/ hairstyles during the early 1900s. In an aim to reuse byproducts of our carpentry process, these vessels are made from found and off-cut timber pieces and glass (lab quality) test tubes.
Each piece is unique and never the same due to the nature of the raw materials used. These pieces fit perfectly to form part of the 2018 African Crowns Collection which is an ode to the sculptural details of not just most African cultural hairstyles. As a set of 3 these pieces can be combined to fit seamlessly together but also work as individual pieces.
Each piece is unique and never the same due to the nature of the raw materials used. Since the hooks are made by our sustainable process of our by products, no two hooks will be the same. Sold as a set of 5, with 5 different designs.
