The Muk'eti Woven Side Table in timber represents an evolution of one of TheUrbanative's most recognisable pieces from the Homecoming Collection, first launched in 2020/21. Named after the Amharic word for warmth, Muk'eti has always explored the relationship between contemporary form, craftsmanship and the comforting qualities of material.
 
This edition reinterprets the original design through a richer material language. Replacing the simplified steel top with solid timber. The piece introduces a hand-carved surface that celebrates the tactile beauty of wood and the mark of the maker. The signature woven element remains, now presented in black and chocolate braided woven details, adding depth, warmth and visual rhythm to the refined powder-coated steel frame.
 
Rather than redefining the Muk'eti, this evolution deepens its original narrative. It continues the exploration of warmth through texture, craft and material, demonstrating how a familiar form can take on a new character while remaining true to its origins.
