The Oromo chair's beautiful organic lines and forms are inspired by the traditional hairstyles of this Ethiopian tribe. The chair form is also inspired by the Oromo chairs/benches from the same collection.
 
As part of the 2018 African Crowns Collection; this piece is an ode to the magical sculptural spectacle of African hair, launched in 2018 by TheUrbanative in South Africa. The Oromo chair has an organic powdercoated steel frame with an upholstered seat finished off with a woven backrest detail. This chair is a balance of soft lines and textural appeal with modernist undertones.
